Description:
Johannes is struggling with his parents' divorce and his father’s lack of contact. Before bed, he asks his mother to read from the Bible instead of his usual Superman story. She reads from the Book of Revelation, and Johannes asks her to explain the phrase "the end is near." She tells him it means Jesus will return, separating good people for Paradise and bad people for Hell. Later that night, Johannes witnesses a bright light and water erupting from the toilet. An androgynous figure appears in the bathroom, whom Johannes believes is Jesus. The figure confirms this, and Johannes asks if his parents will be sent to Hell because he thinks they are bad.
