Luvrgrl (2004)

At sixteen, a teenage girl experiences a breakdown and is placed in a mental hospital by her parents. During her time there, her mother dies from an illness. At eighteen, her father releases her from the hospital and she begins college. In an abnormal psychology class focused on sexual addiction, she struggles with her inner turmoil, engaging in a series of emotionally charged sexual encounters that include partial nudity. Her mother then appears to her in visions, offering occasional reprimands.
