Description:
Dr. Martin Pepper, an adventurer-geologist, is determined to prove his theory: the real Atlantis was located on the Greek island of Santorini and destroyed by the largest volcanic eruption in recorded history. He uses new sonar scans of the seabed and microscopic analysis of the ancient landscape to find proof. Pepper connects Santorini to clues in Plato's original description of Atlantis – including its unusual ring shape and the involvement of Egyptian priests in preserving the legend. Ultimately, he reveals his discoveries, potentially pinpointing the city's location and revealing what it looked like.
