Description:
A picturesque waterfront house, a Swedish flag waving gently, and a sailboat at the dock – this is where friends gather each year for Midsummer. The annual celebration at Emil’s family home includes the traditional herring lunch, sauna, games, and the obligatory skinny dip. This year, Micke is anxious about his heavily pregnant wife and the quickest route to the hospital. Eva seeks an escape from her recent breakup with Patrick and Sam. Emil's friend from the US arrives, eager for a taste of Swedish revelry. Anders hopes to address his girlfriend Maria’s desire for a baby, concealing his low sperm count.
