Description:
In 1980s Poland, 12-year-old Wojciech becomes the target of his father's anger following his mother's death, often punished with a belt. His father attempts connection, but quickly reverts to his volatile temper. Isolated except for his friend Bartek, Wojciech faces no support. Years later, Wojciech is a tense journalist who finds solace in solitary caving. He carries his father's anger issues. Fellow caver Tania is drawn to him, but finding love may prove difficult.
