Description:
Per Brask is a spirited 16-year-old, the son of a fisherman, but not yet old enough to fish himself. Like the other boys on the west coast, he helps with the daily work, though he's mostly focused on having fun and dreaming of owning his own boat. The boys from the dunes are in a perpetual rivalry with the fjord boys – often just called "crabs" – who are the lads from the village by the fjord or the farms inland.
