Description:
María Nieves Rego (80) and Juan Carlos Copes (83) began dancing together at ages 14 and 17, sharing nearly fifty years of a relationship marked by both love and conflict, including several difficult separations. Approaching the end of their lives, the dancers share their story – of love, animosity, and passion – with a group of young tango dancers and choreographers in Buenos Aires. The young artists translate the most poignant moments from María and Juan's lives into breathtaking tango performances.
