Description:
To land a job with a female trio, Per Fagernæs disguises himself as a woman named Martha. He and his supposed boyfriend, Poul, join the group on a trip to the countryside. Martha quickly attracts unwanted attention. She becomes involved in the women's rights movement, encouraged by the mayor's wife, and is unexpectedly nominated for parliament at a women's rights rally. She wins the election, defeating the town's mayor by a single vote. Meanwhile, both Martha and Poul struggle with romantic feelings, having fallen for two of the women in the trio. The question becomes: how do they confess their love while being committed to Martha, and how can they break free from her?
