Clay Fear (2006)

Ming Fu, a pottery factory owner, is tormented by visions of his business partner's fiery death, which he suspects was not accidental. Widowed, Ming is preparing to marry Ye Yue, a development that troubles Zhen Zi, his late wife's sister and a close housemaid. As more of Ming’s associates die, hints of the supernatural emerge, but a crucial mistake reveals the true nature of the events. Directed by Zhang and beautifully filmed by Yudai Kato, the film's inventive approach is undermined by an overreliance on horror clichés, resulting in a flawed story.
