Description:
This film documents one of the most ambitious canyoning expeditions globally. Located in the Nepalese Himalayas, between the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges, the Chamjé canyon is a challenging destination. The Himalayan Canyon Team, a French association, began exploring the area in 2004, mapping around thirty canyons. However, it wasn't until 2011 that they prepared to tackle the formidable Chamjé Khola. The five-day expedition demanded relentless effort and involved navigating difficult, snowy terrain at high altitude. The canyon itself stretches 7 kilometers with 2300 meters of vertical drop. Led by Rodolphe Sturm, the film showcases the team's meticulous preparation, their resilience in overcoming obstacles, and the powerful dynamic between the individuals who fueled their unwavering determination.
