Description:
A ranch owner gives the Cheyenne Kid $1000 to purchase cattle. Simultaneously, he dismisses a ranch hand who rides ahead to inform Jeff Baker of the payment. Baker's men arrive too late to intercept the Kid, but they kill the rancher the owner hired for this purpose. The Sheriff then arrests the Kid, accusing him of murdering the rancher to reclaim the money, and claiming Baker stated the money was lost gambling.
