Slackjaw (2015)

Rob and his best friend Austyn apply to be human test subjects at EvCorp, a multinational company with questionable motives and a facility that has deeply divided their town. Only Austyn is accepted, disappearing into EvCorp's secretive inner workings, leaving Rob to keep the application a secret and worry about his friend's safety. As Rob tries to navigate the growing divide in their town, he struggles with guilt and denial, experiencing unsettling visions, paranoia, and a mysterious illness. SLACKJAW is a gently humorous story about taking responsibility in a community caught in political turmoil.
