Description:
Stella finds joy in auctioning antique treasures, but her marriage to Peter has suffered since she began working with him and his father at the family auction house. Following another argument, she decides to seek a divorce. However, before finalizing the split, she receives an unexpected invitation to the reading of a will for Lord Willoughby, a man she's never heard of. Intrigued, she travels to Cornwall, where she discovers a grand estate and meets David, the charming architect temporarily managing the property after the Lord's death. She is shocked when the stern butler greets her as "Countess of Willoughby." Present at the will reading are also the Lord’s second wife, June, and her sister, Virginia. To everyone's surprise, Stella learns she is Lord Willoughby's granddaughter, the result of her father being exiled for choosing a common-law love.
