Description:
At Kingscove Manor, Emma, Rachel's aunt, suffers a fall and sprains her ankle, requiring Rachel to take over managing the estate. Years prior, Rachel was deeply in love with Luke Folder, whose wife died by suicide. Upon arriving at Kingscove, Rachel tells Luke that a relationship between them is impossible. In the village, she attracts curious stares. At the harbor, she meets Reverend Michael, who tells her Luke still loves her and advises patience. Luke's mother-in-law, Mary, blames Rachel for the death of her daughter, Tara. When Rachel meets Mary, Mary repeats the accusation. Rachel and Luke rekindle their love. Later, Rachel visits Mr. Ripley and discovers him dead in his home. Mary then accuses Rachel of being responsible for his death.
