Description:
Since 1955, Mrs. Bertha regularly visited the family plot at Del Roble Cemetery in Monterrey, Mexico, stopping at the neglected grave of American soldier Edmond William Quer. His headstone notes he died at 22 in 1946, a year after World War II ended. Intrigued, Mrs. Bertha made it a tradition to leave a flower for him each visit. This became a family custom, continued by her sons and nephews even after her passing. Now, one of her nephews takes on the task of uncovering the story behind this Unknown Soldier.
