Description:
Gayetridevi sends her son, Ashok, to Japan to bring her grandson home. Her elder son married a Japanese woman without her approval, and she wants Ashok to marry Sarita. However, Ashok is uninterested in Sarita. In Japan, Ashok meets Asha, and they fall in love. Asha's uncle wants her to marry Pran, but she rejects him and runs away with Ashok. Pran accidentally runs Ashok over with his car, leaving Ashok hospitalized and facing potential blindness. Gayetridevi will soon discover whether Asha – the woman she disapproves of – or Sarita will care for her blind son.
