Description:
In 1920s Czechoslovakia, the elegant Věra showcases household robots at the Futurum exhibition. When two men attempt to force her to leave with them, a young inventor named Petr intervenes. Věra reveals she escaped her home to avoid an arranged marriage orchestrated by her father, a factory owner. Intrigued by Věra's independence, Petr shows her his laboratory and his ambitious plans for a more advanced robot. An accident involving a broken test tube and a drop of Věra’s blood in a solution leads to a surprising discovery: Věra’s exact double. This unexpected event becomes the key to Petr creating Miss Golem, an artificial being programmed solely to protect Věra and ensure her well-being.
