Description:
In Louisiana, sometime in the first half of the 20th century, Louis Chasseur, a man teetering on the edge of madness, hunts the Devil. He ambushes and kills a musician, Jedediah Graham, before Graham can make a deal with the Devil. Expecting a confrontation with the Devil himself, Chasseur instead meets Mycroft Coney, the Devil's lawyer. A battle of wits ensues between the ruthless Chasseur and the quick-talking Coney, who fights to survive as Chasseur interrogates him about the Devil. Chasseur ultimately obtains what he seeks, and much more.
