Description:
In 1945, second and third-year students at a Hiroshima girls' school are sent to work in war factories. The remaining 220 first-year students find themselves as the only teenagers in a largely empty town, trying to cope with wartime hardships. On August 7th, an American bomber irrevocably alters their lives. This story is broadcast on the 43rd anniversary of Hiroshima, in remembrance of the young women who perished in the atomic bombing.
