Description:
Liesje's parents are divorced, and she lives with her mother and grandfather in a comfortable home. Her mother has always told her that her father lives in Rio de Janeiro, and Liesje regularly writes him letters. After her grandfather dies, Liesje deeply misses her father and decides to travel to Rio to see him. To fund the trip, she secretly sells a stamp collection her grandfather gave her. She boards a plane to Brazil alone, unaware of the truth about her father.
