Inside an Athens mental asylum, the celebrated Greek author Georgios Vizneyos experiences a decline, and fragments of a different story—his grandfather's—begin to surface in his fragmented thoughts. This film, based on the author’s own words, vividly portrays Vizneyos’ childhood, a world brimming with fantasy and folklore. As an apprentice tailor, young Georgios is captivated by his grandfather's fairy tales. He dreams of a magical hill leading to the sky and eagerly awaits the opportunity to present clothes to a princess, hoping to win her affection with song. But as reality begins to intrude on his fantasies, Georgios is summoned to care for his ailing grandfather, who shares one last, extraordinary tale—perhaps the most unbelievable of them all.
