Do Not Go Gentle (2001)

Maureen is struggling to care for her father, William, who may have Alzheimer's. Her brothers, Alun, a struggling musician with an alcohol problem, and John, a detached businessman, are reluctant to assist. William, a dedicated socialist, feels betrayed by the British government's neglect of him in his old age. After his children convince him to buy a council house in the 1980s, he discovers the government now requires him to sell it to fund his care. Feeling isolated, William secretly plots revenge against the system.
