Description:
Djalal, a young man adrift, finds solace in his online persona, Lord_Sex. He’s cultivated this digital identity since his teens, documenting recreations of military operations and sharing them on YouTube, amassing thousands of followers. He also possesses an extensive private collection of weapons and military gear. Driven by his online aspirations, Djalal joins the Spanish army and volunteers for deployment to Afghanistan. During his six months there, he films extensively with his video camera during his downtime. Ultimately, he leaves the army not out of fear, but from boredom – the reality of war falls far short of his expectations.
