Fetch a Pail of Water (1999)

This film offers a glimpse into the everyday lives of people living in the Philippines' slums. Gina, a hardworking young woman from a poor family, sells banana slices to make ends meet while caring for her grandmother and siblings, her father currently incarcerated. Nonoy, a water boy, climbs six floors to deliver water to Mrs. Alano, a wealthy woman. He is secretly in love with Gina, but she is drawn to Jimboy, a charming and somewhat frivolous classmate who happens to be Mrs. Alano's son.
