Description:
Gaber Effendi, dismissed from his job at Ezbet Omar al-Alfi's after uncovering financial irregularities, encounters Berlanti, Omar Bey's wife. Gaber observes a striking resemblance between himself and her husband, Omar, who is believed to be in India. Following legal counsel, the family clings to the hope that Omar is still alive. A chance visit by Gaber to Omar's house leads to an unexpected marriage. However, when Omar discovers the truth about Gaber's identity, he attempts to exploit the resemblance for personal gain, but his plans ultimately fail.
