Description:
Inspired by Kafka's story "At the Building of the Great Wall of China," this film unfolds against Europe's heavily fortified southeastern border. Europe, despite its own ideals of freedom, has been constructing its own great wall. Like the Chinese wall, this barrier has been built in stages, taking many forms and with questionable purpose. It slowly solidifies across the continent, and a system of enclosure and exclusion is presented to a population that appears ready to accept it and actively participate in its creation.
