Two Way Street (2004)

Strangers swap homes for 24 hours, each bringing a video camera to film the other's life. Participants try to build a mental picture of the person who lives there, observing their belongings and surroundings. Afterward, they share their impressions of the "other." "Two Way Street" explores the reality of urban solitude, aiming to disrupt these isolated existences. By filming, participants project their own personalities onto someone else's absent life, blurring the lines between presence and absence, identification and difference.
