Description:
Balachandran Unnithan (Jayaram) is a singer who marries Ambika, another singer in his troupe. Balachandran’s family desperately wants a male heir to inherit their fortune, but his brothers have only had daughters. Ambika becomes pregnant, and Balachandran discovers she's carrying a daughter. He later meets Padmarajan, an old friend, whose wife Hema was also pregnant with a son. Due to a mistake by Balu’s mother, the babies were accidentally swapped at birth. Both men must conceal this secret to be able to see their children grow up. However, when Balu's cousins uncover the truth, the children are kidnapped by villains.
