Description:
In 1997, filmmaker Ashish Avikunthak captured a scene of his friend and fellow artist, Girish Dahiwale, immersing a Ganesha idol at Chowpati beach in Bombay on the final day of the Ganapati festival. A year later, Dahiwale took his own life. Twelve years after that, Avikunthak completed a film using the original footage. Initially a tribute to his lost friend, the film evolves into an exploration of mortality and the meaning of death.
