Description:
Romi, a prostitute, struggles with the harsh realities of her work, her gentle nature ill-suited to her clients. As her pimp Franz pushes her further into the streets, Romi teeters on the edge of collapse. One day, a wealthy Jewish property speculator approaches her, not seeking her services, but asking her to tell him stories, rewarding her generously. However, Romi's newfound happiness is met with rejection; her colleagues, clients, and even Franz, the man she loves, turn away. The story unfolds in a decaying city undergoing redevelopment, where politicians openly share profits with speculators and lobbyists, all shielded by the police.
