Description:
Located in northern Japan, Asahiyama Zoo is Japan's northernmost zoo. Yoshida (Yasuhi Nakamura), a young man who prefers insects to people due to past school bullying, becomes the new zoo keeper there. He soon discovers the zoo is struggling financially, and Director Takizawa (Toshiyuki Nishida) is desperately trying to save it from closure. Inspired by Takizawa's dedication, Yoshida and the other keepers join him in believing that dreams can be achieved. Together, they face the daunting task of revitalizing Asahiyama. A turning point comes with the "Behavioral Exhibition," a method pioneered by the zoo keepers that ultimately gains international recognition for the zoo.
