Description:
Peyton Wells saves Judy Jones from an unpleasant young man at a formal party hosted by her wealthy grandfather, Silas P. Jones. Judy declines Peyton's invitation to visit a less affluent area, so he dances with the older women and jokingly tells them Silas is gravely ill. The guests quickly leave, and Judy joins Peyton at a dance hall. Mistaken for a hostess, she dances with Jimmy Cassidy. Events unfold, leading to Judy being disinherited and finding work at the dance hall through Jimmy and his friend Mabel. Jimmy shares his dream of becoming a radio dance instructor, and Judy offers to help him secure funding. She asks Peyton to loan the money, promising to reconsider his marriage proposal if Jimmy's plan fails.
