Description:
Set at a naval base in San Francisco Bay during World War II, *Treasure Island* follows two American code specialists tasked with deciphering Japanese messages and sending misleading information to the enemy. The film examines prevalent sexual themes of the time, depicted with a frankness not often seen in movies of that era. Frank, a bigamist pursuing a third wife, and Samuel, involved in a ménage à trois to conceal his homosexuality, grapple with the pressures of their lives. A mysterious death begins to haunt their subconscious, intertwining with the hidden aspects of their personal lives.
