Description:
Swati Azad and Mridula are close friends in college. They both marry, Swati to Ajay Lal and Mridula to Milind Khanna. Four years later, Prasad Saxena, another former classmate, tells Mridula that Swati has died by suicide, having lost her mind. He believes the Lal family is responsible for her death. Mridula finds Swati’s diary, reads it, and believes Prasad is right. She reopens the case, presenting evidence in court and charging Ajay Lal, his father Hasmukh, and others with murder. Mridula then discovers that the lawyer defending the Lals is Deepak Khanna, her father-in-law. Milind, upon learning of her actions, accuses her of trying to destroy the Khanna family and claims she is losing her mind.
