Description:

Following the withdrawal of NATO forces, the Afghan National Army (ANA) assumed responsibility for Helmand Province, a region plagued by constant attacks from Taliban fighters. Peace appears elusive, and deep mistrust permeates the country, making communication difficult. This film documents a year of frontline service with an ANA company in Helmand. The soldiers face irregular pay, insufficient supplies, and inadequate equipment – remnants of the ISAF's departure – hindering their ability to effectively combat the ongoing conflict.
