Description:
The film starts after Alexander the Great's conquest of Persia and the Kabul valley, as he nears the Indian border at Jhelum. Sikander portrays the Indian king Puru (known as Porus to the Greeks). Legend says that after defeating and imprisoning Porus, Alexander asked him how he wished to be treated. Porus responded that he wanted to be treated as any defeated king is – by death.
