Vangelis – Eureka (Live at Rotterdam, 1991) (1991)

This DVD captures a rare 1991 concert by Vangelis, performed at the docks in Rotterdam, Netherlands on July 18th. A floating stage was constructed for Vangelis, featuring his synthesizers and a choir, all set against a backdrop of Greek decorations. Projections of colors and laser animation animated the surrounding buildings and boats. The performance utilizes a "finger-sync" editing style, which often creates a disconnect between Vangelis's actions and the music. Jon Anderson guest-performed on "Italian Song," and Markella Hatziano appeared on "Glorianna."
