Description:
Set in Brasilia, the film depicts Brazil's political climate following a decade of strict military rule, when civilians were allowed to form new parties. Amidst a national crisis, a group of politicians establishes an opposition party to the military regime, sparking fierce criticism of multinational corporations operating in Brazil. United Mining, an American multinational exploring the Seesaw deposit and accused of numerous irregularities, sees the internal divisions within the opposition party as an opportunity to suppress the growing nationalist movement targeting it. A dangerous power play ensues, ultimately leading the characters down a path of corruption and fear.
