Description:
Anthropologist Max Scarry vanishes without a trace during his research of a lost New Zealand tribe on a remote island. His wife and twin brother Edward are baffled, especially as the local police begin to suspect Edward of murdering a woman found with a tribal charm identical to one discovered in Max's abandoned hut. Adding to the confusion, Max’s daughter experiences unsettling visions – warnings of a supernatural danger and her father’s disappearance. She narrates the story. Determined to uncover the truth, Edward travels to the island, but the deeper he investigates, the more dangerous and mysterious the situation becomes, ultimately leading to a shocking outcome that leaves many questions unanswered.
