Description:
The Shootout is an early nineties action comedy featuring a cast of popular Hong Kong actors. Aaron Kwok plays Fai, a young and inexperienced police officer who mistakenly arrests a member of a thieves' gang. The gang's ruthless leader (Elvis Tsui) then infiltrates the police headquarters to retaliate. To assist, the police bring in two highly skilled officers, Lau (Sean Lau Ching Wan) and Ma (Leung Ka Yan). Their investigation is aided by Min (Fennie Yuen), a singer Fai is drawn to and the girlfriend of the gang's boss. With effective police work and a bit of luck, the officers prepare for a climactic, violent confrontation. The film features intense action and humor, driven by its charismatic stars and fast-paced comedy.
