Description:
In a remote, ancient forest in southwest China, villagers speak of a mysterious "mountain charm" who rescues them from danger. The forest's peace is disrupted by Tong, a journalist seeking his autistic son, Tong. Simultaneously, an animal protection group investigating poaching claims arrives, pursuing the mountain charm, along with a man named Wu and others. During an escape, the mountain charm is injured. Tong and the mountain charm gradually form a bond. Tong repeatedly infiltrates the poachers' camp, fighting them. When the poachers kill a monkey, the mountain charm orchestrates a series of traps to protect the forest and bring the poachers to justice.
