Description:
After her grandmother's death, Alex inherits a cottage in Wales. Recently widowed and struggling financially, she moves there with her son, planning to quickly sell the property to fund her dream of opening an antiquities shop in London. However, the cottage needs extensive repairs and no buyers appear. Forced to stay, Alex reconnects with a former friend who develops romantic feelings for her, and encounters a charming local politician already engaged. She supports his plan to establish a nature preserve nearby, though she hesitates to donate land to the cause, fearing it will deter potential buyers. When her aunt has a fall and requires hospitalization, Alex temporarily takes over her aunt's shop. As the romantic tensions between Alex and her two suitors intensify, a local woman claims there might be gold beneath her property.
