Short Hope (2014)

Kazuya, an elementary school student living with his step-parents, has no memory of his biological father, and his mother is deceased. Hoping to find clues about his father's whereabouts, Kazuya visits the strip club where his mother used to work. There, he discovers a cigarette box labeled "HOPE" and an old photograph of a man with his mother, sparking a glimmer of hope in his search.
