Color of the Cross 2: Resurrection (2008)

From director Jean Claude LaMarre (Color of the Cross), this epic film recounts the ministry of Jesus Christ. Following Jesus' crucifixion, his disciples hide in fear, having lost faith in his promised return. Three days later, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of Jesus, and other women visit the tomb to anoint his body, only to find it empty. As the women flee in alarm, angels appear and announce Christ's resurrection. Bewildered, they relay this news to the disciples.
