Description:
Actor Lucas Bron stages Shakespeare's *King Lear* for his son, Patja. By the time Patja returns home after the performance, he learns his father’s house is on fire. He races to the scene, where firefighters are unsure if Lucas is inside. Patja desperately enters the burning house and finds his father unconscious. As Lucas dies, he experiences a series of memories, directing and acting, with Patja's help, through moments from his life both on and off stage. The lines between theater and reality blur, revealing that Lucas has one last message for his son.
