Description:
Bhoop Singh is a hardworking man supporting his wife Devi and sister Sundari. He deposits his savings with his employer, Lakhsmi Singh, but is publicly humiliated when he tries to withdraw the money for Sundari's wedding dowry. Devastated by the cancellation of Sundari's marriage and her subsequent suicide, Bhoop kills Lakhsmi and begins a life of crime, building a substantial fortune. He has a daughter, Nisha, and is eventually imprisoned after betraying his criminal partner, Vikram Singh. From jail, Bhoop asks his wife to care for Nisha, presenting himself as a widow. Unbeknownst to him, the honest man he tasks with this duty, Jaswant Singh, is actually bandit Dhurjan Singh and the brother of Vikram Singh.
