Description:
Rajoo (Naseeruddin Shah), an honest and kind villager, travels to the city and encounters Sunayana (Rameshwari), a young woman who is nearly hit by a car. She explains she is blind, lives with a caring neighbor called Maushi (Leela Mishra) in a small apartment, and earns a living selling flowers. Determined to help her see, Rajoo seeks assistance from various individuals: a wealthy, suicidal man named Heeramohan (Pinchoo Kapoor); a circus owner (Mukri); a lion-tamer, Shamsher (Rajendra Nath); a prisoner named Jaggoo (Jagdeep); and another prisoner, #204 (Viju Khote). He also contacts Dr. Indrajeet (Vijayendra Ghatge), agreeing to pay him Rs. 2000 for Sunayana's treatment. Dr. Indrajeet resides with his mother (Sulochana) and sister, Sushma (Gayetri).
