Description:
Powerful landlords Thakur Bhupendra Singh and his son Ajit exploit a vulnerable village community. Ajit marries Laxmi, a city woman who moved to the village to join her brother, Bheema. Bheema and Gauri, a spirited village woman, are in love, but their plans to marry are shattered by tragedy. Ajit, having deserted Laxmi shortly after their wedding, returns and murders her. Unable to find justice through the legal system, Bheema resolves to avenge her death.
