This film centers on a downtown Olympia, Washington cafe, a welcoming space for the city's progressive LGBTQ+ community. Through their interactions, we witness the lives of several individuals: a Supreme Court Justice who secretly performs as a drag queen; the Lieutenant Governor preparing to publicly come out; and the cafe staff, including a manager who unexpectedly relocates with a New York billionaire, and a dishwasher who develops feelings for the Lieutenant Governor. Unexpected visitors arrive, like the billionaire's estranged son, and a tech worker's son finds love with a classmate. The film also captures everyday moments – small-town romances, a waiter's connection with a street performer, and an assistant manager seeking career advancement.
