Description:
As night falls, politician Marco is murdered on his way home. Simultaneously, Luca, a gay man, is also heading home to his partner Paolo, unaware that he is in the path of the same killer and is shot. Paolo rushes to the hospital, but the doctor withholds information due to Paolo's lack of immediate family status. Luca dies. Consumed by loneliness and misunderstanding, Paolo wanders the streets. A barman mistakenly assumes he's been dumped by his girlfriend, attempting to offer comfort. Later, Paolo's mother orders him out of the house. He seeks a fleeting connection with a stranger looking for a partner. Even Francesca, who claims understanding, can't truly connect with him, and he flees her as well. With dawn breaking, Paolo reads about the murders in the newspapers and confronts the stark reality of what has occurred.
